Judge Payne's accomplishments reflect her habit of excellence.
Service
In addition to her service as the Presiding Judge of the 55th Civil District Court since 2019, Judge Payne has served as a leader, mentor, and coach in the judiciary and community.
Justice
Because of her belief that justice delayed is justice denied, Judge Payne works both in and out of the courtroom to provide opportunities for all litigants to be heard fairly, efficiently, and giving them the best chance of justice.
